Since the site was purchased in 2001, and subsequently rezoned to Special Industrial, approvals have been received for the Industrial Subdivision of 56 Lots and the GrainCorp receival/handling facility. Significant investigative work and technical reports have been undertaken to ensure a responsible, sustainable development. These include stormwater management, extensive engineering studies, geotechnical studies, odour management, transport and traffic studies (particularly for the Capricorn Highway/Bonnie Doon Road intersection), market assessments, feeder road support networks and supply chain optimization.
